RBE Plus employs special check steps to determine which master data, processes and process steps from those contained in the SAP Solution Manager's Business Process Repository (BPR) are active in an SAP system. These results are then imported via the interface, designed jointly with SAP AG, to an existing SAP Solution Manager project, thus creating an individualized process model of the analyzed system (Blueprint).

The decisive factor here is that by importing the RBE Plus results, the original BPR elements are copied into the project-specific Blueprint, enabling the entire functional scope of the SAP Solution Manager to be utilized to its full extent. SAP has provided unrestricted content for each of these elements (master data, processes, process steps), designed specifically for the particular element in question (documentation, transactions, configuration elements, test cases, etc.).

Another advantage of this type of importing is that elements copied from the BPR into the project-specific blueprint can be upgraded. This means that all upgrade and matching functionalities contained in the SAP Solution Manager are also available for the imported process model for times when you need to implement an SAP Solution Manager release upgrade, for instance, or when you want to incorporate a new SAP content release to add information or customize it for specific elements.
