Analysis of Potential

CAN I EXPECT MORE FROM MY SAP SYSTEM? IS IT WORKING UP TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL?

Ensuring your SAP system's best, most efficient performance takes perseverance. Each new SAP release brings with it additional functions and integration capabilities. Regrettably, only very few utilize the complete benefits their standard software offers them, restricting their upgrades instead to technical aspects only, failing to take advantage of the software's full cost cutting potential. Or, there's what's referred to as "borderline usage", meaning that master data, functions or processes are drawn on only sparingly or just on occasion. But these features require at least as much maintenance as the ones you use 24/7.

It's here that you can uncover significant potential for improvement and cost reduction. But unless you are aware of your current situation, you're not in a position to judge the value of these improvements. Companies that don't make use of such analyses tend to continue operating high-maintenance custom process variants-even though they're rarely used and even though SAP offers viable standard solutions.

We recommend that prior to each release upgrade, before and after every change project and as a follow-up to fiscal year-end tasks, you examine individualized SAP systems with highly complex organizational structures, to ferret out areas of hidden potential.
