RBE Plus Analyses

RBE Plus is designed to automatically analyze the business structure and usage of SAP systems.

In the late 90's, the method of Reverse Business Engineering was developed as part of a doctoral dissertation at Prof. Dr. Rainer Thome's Faculty at the University of Würzburg, and in collaboration with SAP, was applied to SAP systems. Since 2000, IBIS Prof. Thome experts have continued to create new content, analyses and additional tools - such as RBE Plus.

A variety of analysis ABAPs enable transaction usage, enhancements, plus customization, master and transaction data to be extracted and analyzed. We offer our customers a wide range of project scenarios that can be modified and extended depending on the desired scope of analysis:

  • The central aim of the RBE Plus Potential Analysis is to recognize the potential of used and unused business processes, master data and organizational areas. It offers more profound insight into a company's system usage than the RBE Plus Situation Analysis.
  • The RBE Plus User and Role Analysis examines user behavior, licensing, security aspects and role assignment and usage. Resulting data about the number of transactions, plus users and roles are displayed in compressed form as metrics, and in detailed reports. In addition, information is provided in a Role Research database for company-specific analyses.

The results enable our skilled analysts to identify unused potential and devise solutions for improvement.
