From the A7 freeway from Kassel or Hannover,Schweinfurt (B 19), Bamberg (B 22), or Nuremberg (B 8):

Take the Estenfeld EXIT,

• turn right on to the B 19 highway,
• go straight, following signs toward Würzburg,
• stay on the B 19 highway, roughly following signs toward Schwäbisch-Hall
• take the "Stadtring Ost", following the signs toward Heidingsfeld
• after crossing the "Konrad-Adenauer bridge", turn right and stay in the center lane
• turn left at the traffic light onto Mergentheimer street

Take the Heidingsfeld EXIT,

• take a left at the traffic light, toward the city center (Stadtmitte),
• onto the Mittlerer Ring
• second exit on the right
• turn right onto the main street, Mergentheimer street
• go straight at the next 2 traffic lights
• at the second traffic light after the "toll booth" (little yellow half-timbered building on the left), take a left

• take the tram number 3 (Heidingsfeld) or 
  tram number 5 (Rottenbauer)
• step off the tram at the Zollhaus/Steinbachtal stop
• cross the street
