LIVE KIT Power

LIVE KIT Power is a problem-oriented approach to mapping process-related infor-mation for business processes. It is composed of a reference project that provides information on several different levels for process-oriented adaptation.

LIVE KIT Power pursues its objective of effective requirements navigation by af-fording the following potential capabilities:

  • Process-related information is depicted graphically on several levels in a problem-oriented manner.
  • Visualization of typical business processes is made possible with the aid of ScreenCams.
  • Screen- or transparency-size aggregation of information on separate monitors fa-cilitates use in workshops.
  • Close and continual collaboration with consultants ensures practical relevance and application.

In its redevelopment, LIVE KIT Power has been lifted to a new technological pla-ne. This has transformed it into a consistent tool for process navigation and process engineering, and greatly enhanced the creation of business scenarios. The "Look and Feel" - especially of the monitors - has retained much of its old self.

The Engineering Component Offers the Following Potential:

LIVE KIT Power supports the user in modeling even customer-specific processes. The integrated Engineering component enables company-specific adaptation of the fundamental model by increasing the objects available. The customer can cre-ate his/her own objects at any hierarchical level (business process, core process, in-terfaces, etc.), making it possible to adapt the reference model to the company’s specific requirements.

  • Consistent enhancement of the fundamental model
  • Depiction of heterogeneous system landscapes by defining new elements
  • Consistent and continuous use of newly created objects without restrictions
  • Upgrades possible even after adaptation

Automated integrative relationships activated by key indicators, core processes, process documents and interfaces can also serve as a basis for additional customer-specific process modeling:

  • Company-specific models can also be deduced from a rule-based LIVE KIT Struc-ture Workshop.
  • An RBE Analysis helps you create a process model which reflects the actual pro-cesses in the examined company’s systems. The individualized model, developed in this way, serves as a starting point for process modifications or enhancements.

The integrative relationship with the SAP Solution Manager enables the company-specific business processes models to be transferred. During the transfer, standard objects from the Business Process Repository (BPR) are used for con-figuration (Standard BPR Content is provided, e.g. documentation).

Furthermore, LIVE KIT Power can be used to create Business Scenarios. Business Scenarios represent concrete business cases generated from elements of the LIVE KIT Power Model. The business cases can be exported to the LIVE KIT Composer for further documentation.
